SV	En zij namen Absalom, en wierpen hem in het woud, in een groten kuil, en stelden op hem een zeer groten steenhoop; en gans Israel vluchtte, een iegelijk naar zijn tent.
WLC	וַיִּקְח֣וּ אֶת־אַבְשָׁלֹ֗ום וַיַּשְׁלִ֨יכוּ אֹתֹ֤ו בַיַּ֙עַר֙ אֶל־הַפַּ֣חַת הַגָּדֹ֔ול וַיַּצִּ֧בוּ עָלָ֛יו גַּל־אֲבָנִ֖ים גָּדֹ֣ול מְאֹ֑ד וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל נָ֖סוּ אִ֥ישׁ [לְאֹהֵלֹו כ] (לְאֹהָלָֽיו׃ ק) ס
Trans.	wayyiqəḥû ’eṯ-’aḇəšālwōm wayyašəlîḵû ’ōṯwō ḇayy^a‘ar ’el-hap^aḥaṯ hagāḏwōl wayyaṣṣiḇû ‘ālāyw gal-’ăḇānîm gāḏwōl mə’ōḏ wəḵāl-yiśərā’ēl nāsû ’îš lə’âŏlwō lə’ōhālāyw:

AC	יז ויקחו את אבשלום וישלכו אתו ביער אל הפחת הגדול ויצבו עליו גל אבנים גדול מאד וכל ישראל--נסו איש לאהלו
ASV	And they took Absalom, and cast him into the great pit in the forest, and raised over him a very great heap of stones: and all Israel fled every one to his tent.
BE	And they took Absalom's body and put it into a great hole in the wood, and put a great mass of stones over it: and every man of Israel went in flight to his tent.
